Job Description:

• Operate and maintain UTM machines, hydraulic testing systems, and laboratory equipment
• Conduct concrete cube, cylinder, compressive strength, and crushing tests
• Perform soil and geotechnical testing in accordance with industry standards
• Assist with forensic investigations of structural failures and material performance
• Accurately record, analyse, and report test results
• Ensure equipment calibration, laboratory compliance, and safety standards are maintained

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in materials testing, or geotechnical laboratory
• Experience with concrete, soil, and hydraulic testing equipment
• Knowledge of SANS, ASTM, and ISO testing standards
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills

Qualification:
NDip, BTech, Advanced Diploma, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
