Job Summary

  • To lead and manage the Asset Integrity Management Services of the company, ensuring the effective delivery of inspection, maintenance, risk-based assessment, and integrity assurance solutions for oil and gas facilities, pipelines, and associated infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring client assets operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement departmental strategies, plans, and objectives in alignment with company goals.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians to deliver high-quality asset integrity services.
  • Establish performance targets and ensure optimal utilization of departmental resources.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the execution of asset integrity projects including corrosion control, inspection NDT, RBI, FFS, fitness-for-service assessments, pipeline integrity, and maintenance audits.
  • Plan and manage turnaround inspection programs, pipeline pigging, and anomaly management.
  • Ensure adherence to client specifications, industry codes API, ASME, NACE, ISO, and regulatory requirements.

Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Lead Business development activities of the department
  • Engage with clients to understand asset integrity challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical and commercial input during proposal development
  • Support contract negotiation, project estimation, and service delivery improvements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Drive HSE compliance and promote a culture of safety within the department.
  • Ensure all inspection and integrity reports meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and enforce QA/QC protocols for integrity service delivery.

Financial Management

  • Prepare departmental budgets and manage operational expenditures within approved limits.
  • Track project performance, profitability, and client satisfaction metrics.

Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Metallurgical, Petroleum Engineering, Geology or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification e.g., API 510/570/653, NACE, ASNT Level II/III, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in Asset Integrity Management in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing pipeline integrity, static equipment inspection, and RBI implementation.
  • Strong understanding of asset integrity management systems and software e.g., ERPs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and engineering tools.
