Lead Design Engineer Ref: 4250

Advance your career in the manufacturing industry as a Lead Design Engineer based in the Western Cape! With a focus on ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient engineering designs, you will manage technical design development, drawing control, and continuous improvement of machinery and plant equipment. You will oversee CAD modelling, design reviews, and the integration of components, while supporting production/maintenance teams to improve machine performance and reduce downtime. Your experience in mechanical design, CAD systems, and moving/conveying machinery will be invaluable.
 
To be considered, you will need a minimum of Matric with strong Mathematics results, along with a BTech or BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5+ years’ relevant design experience in a manufacturing environment.
