Life Actuarial Analyst

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver monthly and quarterly valuation processes
• Support IFRS 17 calculations and reporting requirements
• Contribute to statutory reporting and embedded value analyses
• Perform reserving and liability assessments
• Conduct experience analyses and forecasting exercises
• Build and enhance actuarial models and reporting frameworks
• Work with SQL to extract, validate, and analyse data
• Prepare and present reports for internal and regulatory stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, and Product
• Maintain adherence to actuarial governance and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field

• At least 4 years’ experience in Life Insurance
• Strong exposure to valuations and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with IFRS 17 (essential)
• Progress toward actuarial qualification is advantageous

• Minimum of 8 actuarial exams completed
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
