REQUIREMENT: 

  • RSA ID and legal residence essential
  • Valid Driver's Licence essential
  • Sober habits essential
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in lodge, guesthouse, hotel, or hospitality management
  • Proven experience managing housekeeping and grounds teams
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills
  • Well-presented and professionally spoken
  • Hospitality qualification advantageous
  • Experience with booking systems and property management software advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Willingness to live on-site and be available for operational requirements when necessary
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Manage guest arrivals, departures, and guest relations
  • Oversee accommodation bookings and reservation administration
  • Supervise housekeeping and grounds teams
  • Conduct daily room and property inspections
  • Ensure rooms and facilities meet guest-ready standards
  • Coordinate venue and accommodation preparation for events
  • Maintain housekeeping stock, amenities, and inventories
  • Ensure the property consistently reflects luxury hospitality standards
  • Assist in overseeing kitchen, restaurant, and public area presentation
  • Manage guest feedback and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Drive service standards and operational excellence across the property
