Maintenance Officer/Technician

Responsible for performing preventive, corrective and routine maintenance. Troubleshooting and repairs on machinery, equipment, to prevent or reduce operational downtime and ensure optimal performance and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of three 3 years working experience in core Maintenance role in the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing Industry 
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Administration or Humanities 
• Trade Test is a plus

• Carry out inspection on equipment as contained in the maintenance plan, document observation accordingly.
• Check fuel, oil and cooling water level for all generator sets before startup.
• Troubleshoot control panel to identify any potential issue.
• Daily dipping of ATK storage tank for generator consumption and proper documentation of stock
• Servicing of product pump strainers
• Hose connection and disconnection for vessel reception
• Confirmation of line valves functionality prior to vessel reception to ensure hitch-free operation.
• Greasing and servicing of control/line valves for easy opening and closing
• Servicing of sprinkler nozzles.
• Render assistance on any and every maintenance task.
• Work with the team regarding repair and replacement of faulty equipment when necessary.
• Ensure the use of PPE and adhere to all safety standards.
