Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and fix electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, etc.
• Handle wiring, sockets, lighting, distribution boards, and fault tracing
• Monitor power systems, including generator, changeover, and inverter/UPS
• Carry out general repairs, such as minor plumbing fixes, fittings, minor carpentry, and AC support
• Respond quickly to guest room issues and keep a log of work done
• Run routine inspections to catch faults before they become breakdowns
• Work with vendors on specialized repairs like elevator and water treatment

Requirements:

• Trade test, OND, or proven hands-on experience in electrical and general maintenance
• At least 3 years on the job; hotel or facility experience is a plus
• Good understanding of electrical systems
• Comfortable with generator and changeover operation
• Able to handle minor repairs beyond electrical
• Reliable, honest, and able to work shifts including weekends
