Motus Commercial Division holds an open vacancy for a Manager: General, who will be reporting directly to the Franchise Executive, and who will look after brands such as Isuzu and UD within the Gauteng Region. The Manager: General will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of these commercial brands. This leadership role focuses on driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Manager: General role is pivotal in aligning departmental objectives with the company's vision to ensure sustainable success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations to achieve business objectives and targets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall business performance and growth.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance service delivery.
- Mentor and develop departmental managers to build leadership capacity within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a senior management role, preferably in a related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operational and financial performance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Additional training or certifications in management or leadership disciplines.
- Experience in change management or organizational development processes.
- Knowledge of industry trends and business best practices.
- Working experience with Isuzu and UD brands will be an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s license.
