Manager: General | Motus Commercial Division

Motus Commercial Division holds an open vacancy for a Manager: General, who will be reporting directly to the Franchise Executive, and who will look after brands such as Isuzu and UD within the Gauteng Region. The Manager: General will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of these commercial brands. This leadership role focuses on driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Manager: General role is pivotal in aligning departmental objectives with the company's vision to ensure sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations to achieve business objectives and targets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall business performance and growth.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance service delivery.
• Mentor and develop departmental managers to build leadership capacity within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.
• Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a senior management role, preferably in a related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing operational and financial performance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in project management and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems to streamline operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Additional training or certifications in management or leadership disciplines.
• Experience in change management or organizational development processes.
• Knowledge of industry trends and business best practices.
• Working experience with Isuzu and UD brands will be an added advantage.
• A valid driver’s license.
