Marine Support Officer

• Serve as the first point of contact with clients while escort vessels are at sea.
• Act as the company’s representative and “eyes” during vessel operations.
• Liaise with operators during escort vessel mobilization and task execution.
• Ensure pre-departure checklists are completed before vessel sailing.
• Receive naval personnel onboard and ensure their welfare throughout the task.
• Act as a link between naval personnel, vessel crew, operators, and the company.
• Ensure vessels comply with safety regulations, environmental restrictions, and operational guidelines.
• Liaise with crew providers to ensure proper manning with qualified personnel.
• Keep accurate records of assigned escort operations.
• Conduct post-arrival checks after completion of vessel tasks.
• Report vessel performance, activities, incidents, and compliance issues to the Operations Officer.
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, and accidents.
• Support the implementation and improvement of the safety management system and integrated management system.
• Stop any unsafe work where necessary.

• A minimum of an OND in a related field.
• Experience in marine operations, vessel coordination, maritime security support, or offshore logistics will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of vessel operations, escort vessel activities, HSE procedures, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, operators, vessel crew, and naval personnel.
• Must be proactive, disciplined, and safety-conscious

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 -250,000 Monthly
