Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the SAAS sector. This position will focus on developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive product awareness and customer engagement. You will play a key role in shaping the marketing vision and ensuring alignment with our overall business goals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with product development teams to create compelling product positioning and messaging.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Organize and participate in industry events, webinars, and promotional activities to boost brand presence.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring the best return on investment for campaigns.

Requirements
- A BCom degree in Marketing or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in a marketing management role within a SAAS environment.
- Proven track record in digital marketing strategies and execution.
- Strong understanding of market research and analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- A valid driver’s license and residency in Durban are required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SEO, PPC, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems and online community management.
- Certification in digital marketing or related areas is advantageous.
- A background in project management would be beneficial.
