Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed piping drawings, layouts, and isometrics based on engineering specifications
- Develop and maintain 2D and 3D models of piping systems using CAD software
- Interpret and translate engineering designs, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and process data into technical drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Revise and update drawings as required throughout project phases
- Assist with design coordination between engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical, and process)
- Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and support documentation for procurement and construction
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
- Support site teams during installation and commissioning by addressing drawing-related queries
- Maintain proper document control and version tracking of all drawings
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Diploma or certification in Draughting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in piping draughting within industrial or process environments
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of piping layouts, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings
