Employment Information
We looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations in Solwezi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy mobile and yellow equipment used in our plant hire operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years' relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs.
- Strong practical experience working on yellow equipment/heavy mobile equipment, including equipment such as:
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
- Ability to maintain service records, job cards and maintenance schedules.
- Strong commitment to safety, equipment reliability and availability.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a mining environment.
