Mechanical Engineer is Required by a Manufacturing Company in Johannesburg. Strong knowledge of centrifugal, plunger, and progressive cavity pumps Ability to diagnose mechanical failures (bearing wear, seal leakage, cavitation, misalignment, VPF, etc.) Hands-on experience with pump assembly, disassembly, and performance testing Familiarity with materials of construction Proficiency in AutoCAD for mechanical design and drafting Understanding of hydraulic principles and pump performance curves Knowledge of welding, machining, and fabrication processes relevant to pump manufacture.
