This role is responsible for supervising the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AOVs, MOVs, and associated mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a nuclear power plant outage environment.
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience with AOV/MOV inspection, testing, diagnostics, and maintenance.
- Experience working with mechanical maintenance tools, machinery, and calibration equipment (e.g., VOTES Infinity).
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric valve actuation systems.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear maintenance standards, plant systems, and safety procedures.
- Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams during outages and shutdowns.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using maintenance planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
