Mechanic – 3 Positions

Job Summary

The Mechanic will inspect, service, diagnose, repair, and maintain company trucks, vehicles, and other mechanical equipment to ensure fleet reliability and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Inspect vehicles before and after operations.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical components.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and servicing.
• Identify potential mechanical problems and recommend corrective action.
• Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow occupational health and safety procedures.
• Support emergency repairs and breakdown recovery when required.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working on heavy commercial vehicles or trucks is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
