Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for overall underground mining operations
- Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Manage production targets, costs, and operational performance
- Lead underground mining teams and supervisors
- Ensure implementation of mine plans and safety systems
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
Minimum Requirements- Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous Mines)
- Minimum 10 years underground mining experience
- At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or management role
- Extensive knowledge of underground mining methods
- Strong leadership and operational management ability
- Valid driver’s license
Advantageous- Experience in platinum mining
- Trackless mining experience
RemunerationA competitive market-related salary package will be offered.
