Assistant Internal Auditor (1 Position) Job Purpose:

• The Assistant Internal Auditor will support internal audit activities to promote effective risk management, internal controls, and governance within the Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to evaluate compliance and operational efficiency.
• Review financial and operational systems to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions to mitigate them.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal control procedures and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Auditing, Accounting, or Finance.
• Professional certifications such as ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• At least 2 years of verifiable experience in a similar auditing role.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent report writing abilities.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism are essential.
• Active membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is mandatory.

Driver Position Available at Mporokoso Trades Training Institute Position:

Driver (1 Position) Job Purpose:

The Driver will provide safe and reliable transport services for staff, students, visitors, and official goods, ensuring compliance with government transport regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Institute vehicles safely and efficiently for official duties.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, institutional safety policies, and government regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s Licence with a minimum Class C.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving experience.
• Possession of a Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) Certificate of Competence and experience driving government vehicles is an added advantage.
