Employment Information

The Anti-Corruption Commission whose mission is to effectively prevent and combat corruption in order to promote integrity, transparency and accountability for sustainable development in Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1.0 HEAD INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY – [1]

a) Job Purpose

To manage the provision of ICT support for hardware and software in order to facilitate seamless access to ICT and e-services.

b) Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage effectively the installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of ICT hardware in order to meet user requirements.
  • Manage effectively the development, installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of ICT software in order to facilitate service provision.
  • Manage effectively the provision of ICT systems security in order to safeguard the integrity of the institutional data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Manage effectively capacity building of end-users in order to enable them to effectively utilize various ICT systems in the performance of their work.
  • Manage effectively the alignment of ICT hardware and network systems specifications with user requirements in order to conform to policies.
  • Manage effectively the provision of first-line software, hardware and network support and helpdesk services for users in order to resolve their issues.
  • Manage effectively the development and implementation of a disaster recovery plan in order to ensure business continuity.
  • Supervise effectively the implementation of performance management systems in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
  • Manage effectively human, financial and other resources in order to attain the objectives of the unit.

c) Qualifications

  • Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Must be a licensed member with a valid practicing license of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant post-qualifying work experience, two (2) of which should be at Management level.
  • Must be aged between 38 and 44 years.

2.0 SENIOR INVESTIGATIONS OFFICER – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY [1]

a) Job Purpose

To supervise and provide a dedicated specialist investigatory service of digital recovery to the Commission, administer Investigations software applications and provide technical support on various investigations tools.

b) Principal Accountabilities

  • Supervise and undertake digital forensic investigations through the collection, preservation, extraction, decryption, analysis, and interpretation of digital evidence in accordance with ACC guidelines and procedures.
  • Supervise and undertake analysis and recovery of evidence from various digital devices, systems, and internet resources, including computers, mobile devices, servers, and digital media, and present findings in a clear and legally admissible manner.
  • Supervise and undertake preparation and presentation of expert reports, affidavits, and testimony in court, while providing technical advice and responding to defence expert opinions during legal proceedings.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to investigators, case officers, and prosecutors by offering guidance on digital evidence, participating in case conferences, and assessing evidential strengths and weaknesses.

c) Qualifications

  • Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Must possess a postgraduate qualification in a Science-related field with specialization in Digital Forensics.
  • Must be a licensed member with a valid practicing license of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant post-qualifying work experience.
  • Must be aged between 35 and 40 years.

d) Skills/Attributes

  • Proficient with forensic techniques and commonly used forensic toolsets, such as EnCase.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows operating system internals accompanied by a broad knowledge of computer and Internet architecture and protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of current file systems (i.e., NTFS for Windows) and how all common operating systems store data within them.
  • Familiarity with Macintosh and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with computer system hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of mobile application operating systems such as Android and iOS.
  • Understanding of data recovery techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with administering Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.

3.0 CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER [1] – RE-ADVERTISED

a) Job Purpose

To undertake public relations functions in order to foster goodwill and confidence from the public.

b) Principal Accountabilities

  • Undertake effectively the development and implementation of the communication strategy in order to guide information dissemination on corruption.
  • Undertake timely the preparation and dissemination of media releases in order to provide information on corruption and operations of the Commission.
  • Undertake effectively the provision of protocol services in order to extend courtesies.
  • Undertake timely updating of content on the website and Social Media platforms in order to provide information on corruption and operations of the Commission.

c) Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Degree in Mass Communication or equivalent.
  • Must be a licensed member with a valid practicing license of the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC).
  • Must be aged between 30 and 40 years.

4.0 REGISTRY CLERK [1]

a) Job Purpose

To undertake the provision of clerical support for registry services in order to enhance accessibility of information.

b) Principal Accountabilities

  • Undertake timely the receipt, distribution and dispatch of correspondence in order to facilitate action by appropriate offices.
  • Undertake effectively the inventory of files in order to facilitate accountability.
  • Undertake effectively the filing in order to ensure that files are in correct order.
  • Undertake effectively the conducting of a search list in order to update records.
  • Undertake effectively the movement of files in order to facilitate action by appropriate offices.

c) Qualifications

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Certificate in Records Management or equivalent.
  • Must be aged between 25 and 35 years.

d) Skills/Attributes

  • Ability to write basic reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

5.0 DRIVER [2]

a) Job Purpose

To undertake driving of vehicles on official business in order to facilitate the mobility of officers and materials.

b) Principal Accountabilities

  • Undertake regularly and safely the transportation of officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Undertake timely the preparation of accident reports in order to facilitate decision making.
  • Undertake timely the completion of log books in order to enhance accountability of journeys.
  • Undertake the timely inspection of vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their roadworthiness.
  • Undertake effectively the cleaning of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use.
  • Undertake the timely reporting of vehicle faults in order to facilitate their resolutions.

c) Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Driver’s License Class C or higher.
  • Certification in Automotive Mechanics.
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Must be aged between 30 and 35 years.

d) Skills/Attributes
