Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies for the Truck OEM commercial vehicle distribution.
- Manage dealer performance, fleet client relationships, and direct sales channels.
- Monitor sales KPIs and adjust tactics to meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Marketing Oversight
- Oversee brand positioning, advertising, and promotional campaigns for Truck OEM.
- Align marketing efforts with product launches, seasonal demand, and customer segments.
- Ensure compliance with local advertising standards and cultural relevance.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Collaborate with the General Manager to align Truck OEM’s commercial strategy with overall business goals.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and market analysis for executive review.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and retention.
- Team Leadership
- Manage department heads: Regional Sales Manager and Regional Marketing Manager.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of commercial staff.
- Promote a performance-driven, customer-centric culture.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Automotive Management (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years in senior commercial roles within the automotive/OEM sector(Trucks).
- Proven leadership in dealer network management and fleet sales.
- Strong understanding of South African automotive regulations and SADC market dynamics.
