The successful candidate should demonstrate high levels of integrity, strategic insight, and professional acumen, together with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: actuarial science, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The candidate should also possess a proven ability to contribute meaningfully to Board deliberations, strategic decision-making, and governance oversight.

Requirements
- Candidates should demonstrate strong competence in at least one of the following disciplines: (i) actuarial science, or (ii) enterprise risk management and (iii) regulatory compliance, with a relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Proven leadership experience at executive and/or board level, with demonstrated governance and oversight capability
- Strong knowledge of insurance risk frameworks, solvency and capital management principles, and actuarial methodologies and or;
- Exposure to actuarial valuation, pricing, capital adequacy, or financial risk modelling is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks within the insurance industry
- Experience in implementing and overseeing governance frameworks, including board and committee effectiveness
- Sound understanding of fiduciary duties and prudential regulatory requirements for financial institutions
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services or insurance, including at least 5 years in senior or executive roles
- Board or committee experience, with the ability to provide independent challenge and strategic input
