We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Online Branding Team Lead to head our Social Media Team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of proven experience managing and growing brand presence across digital platforms, with a strong track record of measurable success. This role requires a creative thinker, strong leader, and data-driven strategist who can translate brand vision into compelling online engagement and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Social Media Team to deliver high-quality content and campaigns.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage brand voice, tone, and consistency across all digital platforms.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion through innovative campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve results.
- Oversee content calendars, paid campaigns, influencer collaborations, and community management.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to maintain brand relevance.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Content, and Product teams to ensure cohesive branding.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience managing social media and active member of the online branding team for well known brands such as Mtn, UBA, Tecno, Infinix etc.
- Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Demonstrable track record of growing brand visibility, engagement, and revenue impact.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, paid advertising, SEO fundamentals, and digital trends.
- Ability to interpret analytics and translate data into strategic decisions.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in [betting/sport/tech/fast-paced digital industries].
- Knowledge of performance marketing and conversion optimization.
- Experience managing brand reputation and crisis communication online.
