The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock control, and providing excellent service to the workshop technicians and customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a storeman, warehouse, or stock control role
- Experience within automotive or motorcycle environments is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy for stock management systems
Duties will include, but are not limited to: - Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming parts and stock
- Picking and packing parts for workshop and customer orders
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
- Ensuring the storeroom is well-organised, clean, and secure
- Assisting with stock takes and reporting discrepancies
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure efficient parts supply
