Position: Pastry Chef / Cleaner
WOWTIGER is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and responsible individual to join our team as a Pastry Chef / Cleaner at our Lusaka location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, baking, and handling of pastries and bakery items.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the work area.
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment, utensils, preparation counters, floors, and dining areas.
- Ensure proper, temperature-appropriate storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Keep the entire workplace organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Strictly follow health, occupational safety, and culinary hygiene regulations.
- Assist the kitchen and operations team with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pastry preparation, baking, kitchen assistance, or commercial cleaning is an advantage.
- Exceptional personal hygiene, grooming, and cleanliness.
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and responsible personality.
- Ability to follow recipes, cleaning schedules, and operational instructions accurately.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced food service environment.
