Payroll Administrator – Durban (Mobeni)
A well-established company based in Mobeni, Durban is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time

Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity

Calculate salaries, overtime, leave, deductions, and benefits

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL, COIDA)

Prepare and submit payroll reports as required
-
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
-
Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
-
Assist with audits and payroll reconciliations when required
Requirements

Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator

Sound knowledge of South African payroll legislation
-
Experience working with payroll systems (VIP, Sage, Pastel or similar)
-
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
-
Ability to meet strict deadlines
-
Good communication and organisational skills
-
Payroll qualification or relevant certification (advantageous)
Salary
R8,000 – R12,000, market-related and based on experience
