for FIT, Group & MICE segments.
To
strengthen our dynamic operations team and deliver seamless guest experiences,
we are looking for a Planning Assistant
who is passionate about travel, organisation, and delivering high-quality
service. This role plays a key part in coordinating transport, excursions, and
logistics to ensure smooth and memorable guest journeys.
Main Responsibilities
·Create
tailored itineraries based on client preferences and requirements
·Coordinate
with contractors and clients to organise transport and excursion schedules
·Prepare
daily operational planning based on reservations and bookings received
·Allocate
company fleet and drivers to scheduled requests efficiently
·Assist in
scheduling transport requests accurately (time, date, venue)
·Coordinate
travel arrangements with hotels, airlines, agencies, and event organisers
·Liaise with
drivers to ensure all transfers are executed as planned
·Follow up
with airport, hotel representatives, and drivers for arrivals, departures, and
excursions
·Organise
pick-up and drop-off arrangements for guests, tours, guides, and employees
·Ensure
clients receive accurate and updated itineraries in a timely manner
·Work closely
with Ground Operations teams (guides, drivers, representatives) to ensure
smooth execution of plans
·Handle
incoming calls and administrative requests from clients and suppliers
·Assist in
preparing operational reports, planning sheets, and movement lists
·Ensure fair
and ethical allocation of vehicles and transport resources
·Update
systems accurately for invoicing and operational tracking
·Provide
support to the operations team during peak periods and large group movements
Candidate Profile
• HSC holder
or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a DMC or tourism operations/planning environment
• At least 5 years’ experience in the tourism industry would be an advantage
• Strong ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and computer literate
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Willingness to workodd hours when
required
• Knowledge of Hindi would be an advantage
