Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the main entrance and verify the identities of residents and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hostel premises to ensure safety and identify maintenance needs.
- Assist students with luggage during check-in/check-out periods.
- Enforce hostel rules regarding curfew, noise levels, and visitor logs.
- Respond to security incidents or disturbances and report them to the Hostel Manager.
- Ensure main gates and security doors are locked or monitored at designated times.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a security guard, porter, or warden is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and alert with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
Location: Korle-Bu, Accra, Ghana
Salary: GHS 2,000 – GHS 3,000 per month
