Power Platform Developer

Job description

• Building solutions using power apps canvas app, model driven app, power automate flow, power bi, power virtual agents.
• Applying Power Apps including an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
• Assisting in collecting and identifying functional requirements
• Raising the causes of bugs or potential issues of the product are skills that we hope you have and we will also help you develop
• Being adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
• Addressing and remediating security vulnerability findings in PowerAppsOwn delivery of features and full solutions: Dataverse / SQL data models, UX, business logic, automation and integrations.
• Make and justify the low-code vs pro-code decision per requirement, balancing speed, maintainability and fit.
• Build custom web / mobile experiences in React / TypeScript with robust API integration when low-code is insufficient.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines, environment and solution management, and release practices.
• Run code reviews, enforce coding standards, write tests and produce reusable components and documentation.
• Refine requirements directly with business stakeholders and iterate solutions from usage and feedback.
• Embed security-by-design and ensure data handling respects applicable regional data-protection requirements NDPR, Ghana DPA, Kenya DPA 2019, Zambia DPA 2021.

Must-have qualifications

• Proven end-to-end delivery across Power Platform / Dynamics 365 AND custom React / TypeScript apps.
• Strong Dataverse / data-modelling and integration REST, connectors, APIs skills.
• Working CI / CD and ALM practice source control, pipelines, environments.
• Sound engineering judgement on when to standardise vs build custom.
• PL-400 Power Platform Developer or equivalent demonstrable pro-code experience.

Nice-to-have

• Azure integration services Functions, Logic Apps, API Management.
• Experience productising reusable components / accelerators.
• Performance-tuning and accessibility experience.

Level-specific success measures

• Solutions delivered on time and to estimate, accepted with minimal rework.
• Low escaped-defect rate in production; healthy automated-test coverage.
• Build decisions hold up over time low re-architecture / technical-debt cost.
