Overview

Hillcrest Private Schools, a reputable private institution based in Mzuzu, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions:

1. Primary School Teachers (5 Positions)

Location Requirement: Applicants must be residing in Mzuzu, preferably in areas close to Chiputula.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a qualified and registered teacher with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Should possess a Certificate or Diploma in Primary School Education from a recognized institution.
• Must have experience teaching at primary school level.
• Should demonstrate excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and learner assessment skills.
• Must be a resident of Mzuzu or nearby areas.
• Previous teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have served in government schools and have since retired or been released but still have a strong passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver effective lessons in assigned subjects.
• Maintain discipline and promote a conducive learning environment.
• Assess and record learners’ academic progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and school activities.
• Support the Head Teacher in achieving the school’s academic goals.
