To deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive education based on the British National Curriculum to primary students in a diverse, international environment. The Primary Classroom Teacher will nurture each child’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development while maintaining high standards of classroom practice and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Nationality Requirement:

UK / European passport holders preferred

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or relevant subject – completed face-to-face

  • PGCE Certificate (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – for UK applicants

  • SACE Registration – for South African applicants

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting (British curriculum preferred)

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2

  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Previous international or GCC teaching experience (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons that meet individual learning needs

  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment

  • Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes students’ development

  • Monitor and assess student learning and progress through formative and summative assessments

  • Maintain accurate student records and reports

  • Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages mutual respect and cooperation

  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

  • Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences

  • Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to school-wide initiatives

  • Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and school values in all aspects of teaching
