Duties Include:
Buy supplies and materials - Source, negotiate with suppliers, purchase, track orders and collaborate with Project Teams, Logistics, and Finances
- Ensure a reliable and cost effective supply chain to meet production needs
- Source, negotiate price and terms, and purchase equipment, goods and services (local and import)
- Source raw materials, components and other supplies
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Manage quality, reliability and timeliness of delivery
- Monitor Supplier Delivery Performance
- Minimize cost and risks
- Handle imports and freight quotes
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Review and submit forecasts
