We invite experienced and safety-conscious truck drivers to apply for this full-time opportunity to support the reliable and timely delivery of temperature-sensitive goods. About the Role – Professional Driver Jobs in Lusaka As a Truck Driver with Primepath Logistics, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our cold-chain logistics operations.
You will be responsible for safely operating company trucks, ensuring refrigerated cargo remains within required temperature parameters throughout transit, and adhering strictly to road safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely to transport and deliver goods to designated locations on schedule. Monitor refrigeration equipment continuously and report any faults or temperature deviations immediately.
Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, reporting mechanical issues promptly. Handle goods carefully to ensure they arrive in excellent condition and within agreed timelines.
Maintain accurate delivery notes, trip sheets, fuel records, and other necessary documentation. Plan efficient routes while complying with traffic laws and delivery schedules.
Keep vehicles clean and in good working order. Report any accidents, delays, breakdowns, or incidents to management without delay.
Maintain professional communication and conduct with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. Comply fully with company policies, road safety standards, and transport regulations.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications Valid Zambian Class C driver’s licence. Age between 30 and 50 years.
Proven experience driving trucks or commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
Experience in refrigerated transport or cold-chain logistics is highly advantageous. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and fault identification.
Good communication skills and ability to complete transport and delivery documentation accurately. Reliable, disciplined, honest, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required. Professional attitude and ability to manage delivery schedules responsibly.
