Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with trauma and emergency conditions.
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritise care according to clinical urgency.
- Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
- Assist with trauma resuscitations and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while supporting patients and their families.
Minimum Requirements:- Registered as a Professional Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council.
- Approximately 2 years' experience in a Trauma Unit or Emergency Department.
- Sound knowledge of trauma nursing principles and emergency patient management.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
