Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with trauma and emergency conditions.
• Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritise care according to clinical urgency.
• Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
• Assist with trauma resuscitations and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while supporting patients and their families.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered as a Professional Nurse with the relevant Nursing Council.
• Approximately 2 years' experience in a Trauma Unit or Emergency Department.
• Sound knowledge of trauma nursing principles and emergency patient management.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
