Professional Structural Engineer

Our client, a respected consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Professionally Registered Structural Engineer to join their Cape Town-based team.

This opportunity is suited to a highly experienced professional who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities and practical experience in the structural engineering sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions while contributing to project success and client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

·        B.Eng / BSc in Civil Engineering

·        Must be professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.

·        A minimum of 7 years' experience in the Structural engineering field, with specific experience in the design of concrete framed structures, structural steel buildings (warehouses etc.) and load bearing structures.

·        Proven experience in structural concrete and steel design for multi‑storey commercial structures.

·        Expert proficiency in Prokon and relevant finite element analysis design software packages (for instance, Tekla Structural Designer) are essential.

·        Proficient in MS Office Suite

·        Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Revit
