Position Title: Programs Manager (X 1)
Department / Project: Radio Kabangabanga
Location: Solwezi District, Zambia
Reports To: The Station Manager – Radio Kabangabanga

Background:

The Catholic Diocese of Solwezi is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Program Manager to be stationed at Radio Kabangabanga within Solwezi district.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• As Programs Manager you shall work under the supervision of the Radio Station Manager.
• Maintain a contact database for the Station.
• Planning and coordinating various aspects of radio production, such as script selection, coordinating writing, directing and editing, soliciting sponsorship for programmes and adverts.
• Coordinating the activities of writers, news gatherers, editors and other personnel through the production processes.
• Monitor post-production processes in order to ensure accurate completion of all details.
• Be able to meet the target as directed by the supervisor.
• Promote good relationships with clients.
• Do any other work as might be directed by your supervisors.

Key Working Relationships:

• Internal: The Programs Manager will report to the Station Manager.
