About the Role

  • SmartCity PLC is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of HazanaCity Osogbo, a flagship real estate and infrastructure development project in Osun State. This is a middle management role combining project execution with active business development and land sales. You will report directly to the MD/CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of HazanaCity Osogbo projects, from planning through execution to delivery
  • Supervise and coordinate project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, and budgetary performance

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive land sales with a minimum target of 50 plots per quarter
  • Secure at least 3 new marketing partners per quarter
  • Build and deepen collaborations with construction and infrastructure partners
  • Represent the company at government, trade, and industry engagements
  • Participate in at least 3 trade fairs or workshops per quarter

Infrastructure Oversight

  • Monitor rollouts of electrification, sewage, water reticulation, and road construction
  • Ensure infrastructure execution with less than 10% variance from agreed timelines
  • Secure 100% survey documentation of residential plots and distribute to subscribers

Operational & Stakeholder Management

  • Support subscribers in securing approvals and documentation
  • Ensure smooth coordination of contractors, staff, and government agencies Ensure timely handover processes for estate subscribers

Reporting & Governance

  • Submit fortnightly progress updates and participate in monthly review sessions with the MD/CEO
  • Maintain budget compliance within 10% variance
  • Identify and resolve risks within 10 working days
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with zero infractions

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in real estate project management, estate development, or construction supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to drive land or property sales and meet revenue targets
  • Experience securing marketing partners and managing business development pipelines
  • Strong leadership of cross-functional teams, contractors, and government stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Nigerian regulatory requirements and estate documentation processes
  • Knowledge of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and data handling best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting
  • Ability to conduct bi-monthly staff performance reviews and maintain team morale
