Refrigeration Foreman

A leading South African food production and processing organisation is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Foreman to join its engineering and maintenance team. This role is responsible for overseeing refrigeration operations, ensuring optimal plant performance, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team of refrigeration technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 
✅ Trade Test qualification in Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering.
✅ Refrigeration Technician qualification (advantageous).
✅ Minimum 5-8 years' experience in industrial refrigeration environments.
✅ At least 2-3 years' supervisory or foreman experience.
✅ Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
✅ Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, cold storage, seafood processing, or related industries is advantageous.
✅ Sound understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
✅ Computer literacy, including maintenance management systems.
