Position Summary As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and servicing of refrigeration and cooling equipment. Your expertise will support energy-efficient operations and maintain reliable system performance across our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, service, and repair refrigeration and cooling systems, including industrial refrigerators and freezers. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Diagnose faults within refrigeration systems and execute effective repairs. Monitor refrigerant levels, temperature, pressure, and overall system functionality.
Maintain critical components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and thermostats. Conduct routine inspections and maintain detailed maintenance records.
Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Qualifications and Experience Required Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related discipline. At least 2 years of practical experience in refrigeration maintenance; experience in FMCG or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
Comprehensive knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Proven ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration and cooling equipment efficiently.
Familiarity with refrigeration controls, temperature monitoring, and electrical troubleshooting. Understanding of refrigerant handling protocols and strict compliance with workplace safety standards.
