REGISTRY ASSISTANT
Reports to: Administrative Executive
Location: Head Office
Job Purpose
The position performs clerical duties in the Registry to facilitate its operations and support other business operations in the Airports Company of Zimbabwe.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures proper and accurate filing of all documents and files to facilitate easy retrieval and safe storage.
Ensures that all records for issued documents are accurately maintained to prevent loss of ACZ information.
Follows up on outstanding returns of issued documents to ensure that all documents are accounted for.
Repairs torn documents/files to maintain information in the approved standard.
Makes photocopies of requested documents for users to enable them to conduct their work.
Records and notifies the Registry Supervisor of any lost/unreturned or damaged ACZ documents/files to ensure proper follow-up and/or replacement.
Participates in the cataloging and classification of documents and materials according to the approved system to facilitate tracking of all the documentation in the Registry.
Appraises records in both paper and electronic form.
Disposes of records by either archiving or destruction in line with set procedures.
Qualifications and experience
5 “O” levels including English Language
Certificate in Records Management
At least 1 year’s relevant experience
A clean class 4 driver’s license will be an added advantage

Ability to handle confidential information
High level of integrity.
