Position: Remedial Educator (Grades 4–7)

Hillcrest Primary School invites applications from passionate, dedicated, and suitably qualified educators for the position of Remedial Educator. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is committed to supporting learners with diverse educational needs, providing targeted intervention, and fostering confidence, resilience, and academic growth in a nurturing learning environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ proven teaching experience as a Remedial Educator or Learning Support Educator.
• SACE registered (valid registration required).
• Relevant teaching qualification with a specialisation in Remedial Education, Inclusive Education, Learning Support, or Educational Psychology.
• Relevant qualification in Foundation Phase and/or Intermediate Phase Education.
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate with no criminal record.
• Not listed on the National Register for Sex Offenders (certificate required).
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Sound knowledge and implementation of CAPS curriculum requirements.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
