Job SummaryThe Reservations and Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing reservations, supporting sales activities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will handle booking enquiries, process reservations accurately, assist with sales initiatives, and support revenue growth through efficient coordination and communication. Key ResponsibilitiesReservations ManagementManage reservations via telephone, email, online platforms, and travel agentsProcess bookings, amendments, cancellations, and special requests accuratelyEnsure all reservation details are captured correctly on the booking systemMonitor availability, rates, and occupancy levelsConfirm reservations and provide clients with relevant booking informationSales CoordinationAssist with sales activities and promotional campaignsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and corporate partnersPrepare quotations, proposals, and contractsFollow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookingsSupport the achievement of occupancy and revenue targetsCustomer ServiceProvide professional and efficient customer service at all timesHandle guest and client queries promptly and professionallyResolve booking issues and complaints effectivelyEnsure excellent communication with guests before arrivalAdministrationMaintain accurate reservation records and filing systemsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation and sales reportsAssist with invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations where requiredCoordinate with operations and front office departments regarding arrivals and guest requirementsMarketing SupportAssist with maintaining OTA platforms and booking channelsSupport social media or marketing initiatives where requiredAssist in promoting special offers and packages Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Diploma or qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Sales, or related field advantageous
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in reservations, sales coordination, or hospitality administration
  • Previous lodge, hotel, or tourism experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of reservation systems and booking platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Sales and customer service orientated
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
