? Elevate Your Hospitality Career in the Heart of Franschhoek ? ? Reservations Consultant ? Franschhoek, Western Cape ? Luxury Property Group ? Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 (Negotiable DOE) ? Office-Based Position Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Consultant for a luxury property group based in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong administrative skills and a passion for delivering seamless guest experiences across multiple luxury properties and booking channels. The successful candidate will manage reservations end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery while supporting both operational and financial booking processes. Requirements: ✔ Previous experience in a reservations or hospitality role preferred ✔ Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities ✔ High attention to detail and accuracy ✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems (PMS experience advantageous) ✔ Professional, courteous, and guest-focused approach Key Responsibilities: Administration: • Respond promptly and professionally to all emails and messages • Answer telephone enquiries courteously and efficiently • Accurately process and update all reservations in PMS • Maintain knowledge of all rates, including rack and contracted STO rates • Ensure reservation records are organised and up to date • Manage booking systems including external platforms (e.g., Apply Below) • Verify daily bookings prior to guest arrival • Follow up on provisional bookings before expiry • Maintain guest history files accurately • Stay informed on room types, facilities, activities, and local area offerings • Understand and communicate all special offers and property logistics Financial Responsibilities: • Ensure correct quoting and confirmation of all reservations • Ensure deposits are collected within 14 days of booking • Monitor payments and flag outstanding balances to management Additional Responsibilities: • Maintain a professional and positive client-facing approach • Liaise with operations teams regarding guest requirements • Refer sales opportunities to the relevant department • Communicate special requests or issues to management • Assist with ad hoc projects as required Working Hours: • Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 What’s on Offer: • Competitive salary (DOE) • Opportunity to work within a luxury property group • Exposure to multi-property reservation systems and high-end guest service • Career development within luxury hospitality Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
