Reservoir Engineer

Description

• Our client is hiring a Reservoir Engineer to manage reservoir evaluation, simulation, and performance analysis activities.
• The role requires strong technical expertise in reservoir engineering, hands-on experience with reservoir modeling software, and the ability to support efficient field development and production optimization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir performance analysis, simulation, and forecasting to support production optimization
• Develop and maintain reservoir models using Petrel and other relevant engineering tools
• Interpret geological and production data to evaluate reservoir behavior and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support field development planning and operational efficiency
• Monitor reservoir performance and recommend strategies for improved hydrocarbon recovery
• Prepare technical reports, reserve estimations, and production forecasts
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and operational best practices

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any related engineering discipline
• 8–10 years’ experience in reservoir engineering
• Proficiency in Petrel software is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of reservoir simulation, field development, and production optimization
• Proven ability to analyze reservoir data and provide technical recommendations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Professional certifications and relevant industry training are an added advantage
