A leading provider of industrial automation and fuel management solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across Central and SADC Africa.
This is a strategic business development role focused on complex technical sales, long sales cycles, and high-level stakeholder engagement within the mining and petrochemical sectors.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' technical sales experience
- Proven track record within the petrochemical and/or mining industry
- Experience selling complex technical solutions into Africa
- French language proficiency (essential)
- Relevant technical qualification (Engineering, Technical Diploma, or Degree)
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Africa
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Develop and grow business across Central and SADC Africa
- Manage complex B2B sales processes from prospecting through to close
- Engage with stakeholders at operational, technical, and executive levels
- Compile and present commercial and technical proposals
- Drive market development and strategic account growth
- Manage long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and end-users
Experience with
fuel management systems, industrial automation, electro-mechanical systems, or related technologies preferred.
