Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase food, beverage, events, and conference revenue.
- Drive sales through corporate partnerships, group bookings, and promotional campaigns.
- Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives across social media platforms and other online channels.
- Generate new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Promote and market the organisation's conference facilities and event spaces.
- Conceptualise and attract innovative events, themed nights, corporate functions, social gatherings, and other activities that increase customer traffic and revenue.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and track performance against agreed targets.
- Represent the organisation professionally in networking events and business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
- Have a minimum of three 3 years of relevant sales and marketing experience with a proven and verifiable track record.
- Be highly conversant with digital marketing and social media marketing strategies.
- Have previous experience working within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Be able to work independently and effectively under sales targets and a performance-based contract.
- Be creative, innovative, and capable of attracting events and functions that generate business for the establishment and conference facilities.
Compensation & Incentives
- Basic Salary: KES 60,000 per month.
- Food Sales Commission: 10% commission on monthly food sales generated.
- Meetings & Conference Sales Commission: 5% commission on meetings and conference sales achieved after meeting the monthly sales target of KES 2.8 million.
