A leading supplier of instrumentation, process control, and industrial technology solutions is looking for a technically strong Sales Engineer to grow business across the Gauteng and Free State regions.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands process environments and can engage confidently with engineers, maintenance teams, and decision-makers across mining, FMCG, data centres, manufacturing, and corporate industries.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Proven experience in instrumentation and process control sales
- Strong industry and product knowledge (essential)
- External sales and business development experience
- Valid driver's license, own vehicle and willingness to travel
- Ability to engage with technical and commercial stakeholders
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Develop and grow business within the territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships
- Conduct technical presentations and solution-based sales discussions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial submissions
- Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation
Exposure to
mining, FMCG, manufacturing, data centres, utilities, and/or industrial automation environments preferred.
Qualifications
- BTech in Process Control, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar preferred
- Relevant technical qualifications will be considered
