Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets and industries.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups.
Account Management
- Manage existing accounts to maximize repeat business and upselling opportunities.
- Monitor customer orders, delivery timelines, and after-sales service.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with production, supply chain, and finance teams to align sales with operational capacity.
- Provide customer feedback to improve product offerings and service delivery.
- Support product development initiatives based on market demand.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline status.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Branding & Promotion
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Enhance brand visibility in target markets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with B2B clients, distributors, or industrial customers.
