Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development, client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Prospect for new clients, develop leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Achieve agreed monthly sales targets through direct sales and business development.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts through upselling, cross-selling and client retention.
- Conduct client visits, presentations and sales pitches to identify and respond to client marketing needs.
- Develop proposals, quotations, media plans and customised advertising solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
- Identify opportunities to commercialize radio, digital, events, activations, sponsorships and station-owned platforms.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, activations and promotional initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of client campaigns and advertising schedules.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline and marketing role activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/ in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- 1-3 years' experience in sales, business development, account management or marketing, preferably in media, advertising or a related industry.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and generate revenue.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills. Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
