Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer (Senior) to join a dynamic global IT environment focused on delivering innovative IT solutions and enterprise applications.
The role focuses on HR Data Management solutions for workforce master data and process management, including reporting, information management, and self-service functionalities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Debug and troubleshoot ABAP coderesolving coding and performance issues
- Develop programs, function modules& reports based on functional requirements
- Enhance standard SAP functionalityusing User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements
- Create interfaces with differentintegration technologies (ODATA, ALE, file-based and more)
- Design UI elements with SAP GUI,Web-Dynpro, UI5/Fiori
- Ensure clean, efficient, andmaintainable code
- Collaborate with functionalconsultants and stakeholders
- Understand business requirements andtranslate them into technical solutions
- Create, execute and document unittest cases in JIRA
- Document work in the required format(e.g. interface specifications)
- Follow agile working methodologies
- Manage general queries of colleaguesand stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
Essential Skills
- SAP ABAP skills with focus on HR
- Knowledge of modern integrationtechnologies (HTTP/Client, ODATA/Webservices)
- Proficient in workflows
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 integration
- Exposure to Agile methodologies androutinized use of JIRA / xRay / Confluence
- Eager to learn about newtechnologies, especially AI tools
- Strong problem-solving and analyticalskills to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
- Ability to communicate effectivelywith HR teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and providesolutions
- Any additional responsibilitiesassigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous Skills
- Proficiency in SAP HCM (H4S4) datamodel
- Experience with HANA databases
- Classic integration technologies likeFlat files and IDocs
- Familiar with form generations usingSAP Script, Smart Forms or Adobe Forms
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
- Any ABAP / SAP / HANA certificationis advantageous
