Job Description
The Data Migration Lead is responsible for managing and delivering SAP data migration activities, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation of data in S/4HANA conversion projects. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive successful data migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL)
- Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Utilize S/4HANA conversion tooling and approaches effectively
- Provide delivery leadership for migration projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and governance are met
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve data-related issues
Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP data migration or ETL projects
- SAP Data Services / Migration Certification preferred
- Proven experience in migration delivery leadership
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced, senior-level professional
- Preferably with Public Sector project experience
- Based in Cape Town or willing to work locally
