Job Description

We're partnering with an established, large-scale South African group in retail financial services and consumer credit - a recognised market leader investing heavily in new payments, lending and digital-banking platforms. This is a chance to drive software delivery at genuine mass-market scale during a period of major growth and transformation.
Performance Objectives for Year One

1. Establish a predictable, transparent delivery cadence across one to two software teams, with reliable sprint commitments and clear forecasting.
2. Visibly raise the team's Agile maturity by coaching on Scrum/Kanban values, principles and practices.
3. Become the team's impediment-removal engine - surfacing, tracking and resolving blockers before they affect delivery.
4. Build trusted, two-way stakeholder communication with clear status, risk and progress reporting.
5. Strengthen risk management and delivery transparency using appropriate ceremonies, tools and metrics.
6. Partner with Product Owners to keep backlogs healthy, prioritised and aligned to business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
